    Re: State Champions Predictions

I agree with you when it comes to Single A. I don't know anything about the others so I can't comment on those. I've heard a lot of great things about how tough William Campbell is, so I don't realistically see Clintwood beating them if they do get matched up. It would be great to set an upset, though! I wonder how Buffalo Gap will fare this year in the playoffs?

I'm not 100% positive about Gretna winning it. I know that they were an excellent team last year and totally destroyed Gate City, but this year I've heard that without their QB and due to a few other problems, they aren't quite as good as they were last year. I'd still say they're favorites to win, though, as I understand that they're still one of the better D2 teams out there.

    Re: State Champions Predictions

Nick Miller should be back for the playoffs, which should make Gretna a mortal lock for A-D2 champs. I hope you're wrong about A-D1 though, but it's going to be tough going for anyone that comes up against William Campbell.

Single A picks look to be right on the money.

    May the best teams win!

    Re: State Champions Predictions

I'd love to see a state championship in Region D Div II as well, but Gretna looks like a tough obstacle.

    Re: State Champions Predictions

If your going to get Gretna you'd better get them this year. I'm not sold on the fact that Miller is going to play in the playoffs. As of this past weekend he hadn't even practiced yet.

I've heard that Floyd County in Region C is good.
